Bio
What can I say that isn't apparent?

I'm a girl. I'm a history student. I'm the po'est mo'd on the block. I like to think I'm smart. I'm a geek. I try to follow what I think is right. But it doesn't seem to work.

I live, I learn, I love. I try, and I guess that's the most important part.

I'm really into World War One history. I'm addicted to Guitar Heroes II, Katamari Damacy, and Animal Crossing. I love comics. I like dead baby jokes and student politics. Sci-fi/fantasy are alright, although I lean more towards non-technical science stuff. I love sushi. I'm a sucker for drag queens. I like comics and some video games, especially old school stuff and anything with zombies. I just love zombies period. I love Vietnam movies, although I tend to hate blood and gore. I love Asian horror cinema. I fancy myself a bit of a writer. More of a poet, I suppose. I'm a feminist. I love music and literature. I read just about anything I can get my hands on. Most of it is trash.

I can say, honestly, that I'm probably one of the bigger walking contradictions.

But, in my own small way, I like it.

I live with my boyfriend in a old-school one bedroom apartment in Burnaby. I work at a pretty okay job to pay my bills, so I can go to school and dream of a better one. I'm currently on a big Japanese and German cinema kick. I don't write here much anymore, and I don't rightly know why.

Words to live by, courtesy of my Internet Jesus, Warren Ellis: Dance like you're stamping on a human face forever, love like you've been in a serious car crash that minced the front of your brain, stab like no one can arrest you, and live like there's no such thing as God.

Oh, and I also started microloaning! It's great!
